~ Mussels in White Wine

Cut 1 onion in pieces put in pot with butter, pepper and garlic.
Cook onion ¾ of the way add rinsed mussels toss around till butter
and onions are well mixed with mussels. Add ½ up dry white wine
or beer or water cover, cook until mussels are all open. Now you're
ready to eat.
Draw up some butter to dip the mussels in .
